I am still here- despite all! I have a minor complaint- surely this cant be all the Fantasy titles done in the spirit of DG. Is the lure of the award not enough to entice more entries? i have tried writing and would sacrifice some years of my life just to be nominated for this major hardware. I am really jealous of you, Gareth and Stan because you are all published. But i assure you, if i had a piece that qualified i would be all over someone until they submitted the nom.
Sorry to post this here, as I can't figure out how to contact you otherwise - read the blog post about reviews and would be interested in reviewing any of the Morningstar Award Nominees (or any other award nominees if needed). I've read quite a few already, so I'd prefer to volunteer to read "The Call of Kerberos" by Jonathan Oliver if possible. Thanks, Jeff Timmers
Hi Debbie! I just spent a rather short hour in BAM with head buried in Joe Abercrombie s latest! This is a great read! I detect only minimal amount of x rated content except for lots of excellent swords and violence! I think he may have it in 2011 DGLA contest. I have read several good and better entries so far, though! I better get started on next title!
ps: shame about Christchurch, did you know many people there?
lords and Ladies! Please prepare the lash for application to my back! I STAND CORRECTED! Joe Abercrombie may be the closest i have EVER read to DAG. I cant seem to finish The Heroes due to going back to reread the last 50 pages. The last time i did that it was for David on Dark Moon! i stand in AWE!!!!
