And to you, Kate. Things are good and very busy. Finishing one book, starting a new Young Adult series, doing a bit of acting and got the builders in knocking hte house about too. All good fun! The son is growing up fast and the wife works too hard. Such is life...
Hiya Kate - Happy New Year! Hope you and the family had a good festive season? Brilliant response to the voting so far - about 2,350 votes since Boxing Day... we're all stunned but very pleased! Invitations will be coming out soon...
All's well here in sunny little Israel. I really wanted David to come out here for a trip. I think he'd have loved Jerusalem. So full of history, religion, and crazy people. Perfect material for a future novel!
Good to be in touch.
Best wishes,
Nigel

Yes thanks - I did get the message - sorry, I thought I had replied. We do seem to have a few gremlins in the comments system at the moment (I might post a blog about it just so everyone knows we're aware & Ning (the company who runs these networks) are looking at it).
I haven't heard from Terri since she said she'd prefer me to post her printed copies - I've been meaning to do so for about a week or so, but things are a bit hectic here... we are like a duck or a swan - all calm and efficient, gliding along, & feet paddling like hell underneath!
Good to see Luke has joined too this week. We are teetering on the brink of 200 Members - but I really want to reach 500 by the time the polls open! I know from other sites, that people are planning to vote, even though they have not signed up here so it's difficult to estimate the size of the vote we will be getting!
Glad you like the t-shirts too - I had fun designing them - although I'm no expert. Some are intended for my other site, Wonderlands, so they are just Fantasy images which I liked! I have ordered a few myself for xmas presents & to see what they quality is like!
Of course Kate - that's brilliant! We want to get as many Fantasy people on here as possible - so when the poll goes live on 26th of December, we have 1000s of votes! Libraries are certainly a good place to reach out to the readers - I'm planning to speak to Midlothian and East Lothian librarians in the next week or so (I used to work for the counties as a Writer in Residence) to see what they can do... Brilliant to see word spreading!
thanks for that kate. its going to be costly but I've got to get it as it's DG's only published work i have never read..... before DG passed i used to get quite exited in anticipation for his next piece. i have that feeling now and it's great. take care and once again thanks for the reply.
your the first person to comment on the book white knight black swan. i was beginning to think that the book was not to be mentioned or something............ anyhow, whats it about ?
I'm really glad you enjoyed them. The other two are very different and they've rather split my fans. Some love them for their great sweeping epicness, some don't cos they're not as all-action as The Raven. And they are v big indeed...
Hi there Kate - thank-you so much - I hope he would be, that's what we're all aiming for... Things are good with me - you can be sure this is keeping me rather busy! Everyone is so enthusiastic about it & it's lovely to get the response we've had from all the industry... Keep in touch - hope we will see you at the 'do'!
Yes it's great isn't it. I'm really happy it's getting off the ground. It'll become THE award to win in a just a few years. Hope you're well. Take care and see you soon.
