Would you like to write a short review of any of the LEGEND or MORNINGSTAR novels? This year, I am planning to send out the reviews to all our Members in a Bulletin (like this one) as they come in. Also, the review will be on the website of course... I know some of you have been patiently waiting to get your teeth into one of our Nominees works - so here's what you have to do:

1/ Choose 3 novels you might like to read. Bear in mind, we would particularly like to know about the MORNINGSTAR authors as these works are their debut Fantasy works... list your favourites in order of preference - I'll do my absolute best to accommodate everyone & send you one novel from your top 3. Send me this info - millerlau@clara.co.uk - along with your POSTAL ADDRESS so I can get the book out to you.

2/ Read the book! (The fun part, we hope) You might want to keep a few notes as you go along - but this isn't essential if you feel it would interrupt the flow of the story. You can always flick back through the novel again afterwards.

3/ Write your review: 200 - 1000 words max. Think about whether you enjoyed the characters and/or the plot. What was special or unique to the story. Let us know if you think you'd like to read more from the author (always important, especially for the MORNINGSTARS) Remember; you want to give a flavour of the story, rather than just a blow-by-blow account of what happens (that's just an extended Spoiler!)

4/ Once you're happy with what you've written, email me a copy and I'll get it up on site as soon as possible. You can keep the book, as a 'thank-you' from us.

In previous years I've been asked whether the review can be used on other Fantasy/SF Blog sites - all we ask is that you give us a slight "head start" to get the review out to our Members & also, (most importantly) you provide a LINK back to our Main page. Thanks.

Please do be sure you can commit to a review - some of the publishers have only sent us a SINGLE copy this year, so obviously, that copy may be the only one available. If life suddenly gets hectic & you don't think you'll manage the review after all, we understand - but if you could let me know & post the book back to me, that would be great!

Hi Deb,

Read only a few titles this year due to excess workload at bill paying job...... SOP right?

I must pass on the review this year but dont think i am abandoning the faithful!!!!!!!  WHEN, and IF i ever retire you will need a transatlantic fiber optic cable to keep up.

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!
