The place to show your support of Brent Weeks first novel in his Night Angel Trilogy, The Way of Shadows.
the troy series... absolute stunners. Honestly 100% complements on Troy series 'fall of kings', i picked it up at the books shops thinking, Grrr... David Gemmell's last work T.T, then seeing Stella Gemmell's name next to his was kind of.... very a...
Hi Deborah, Thanks for the feedback! And yes, a 'lens' is essentially a page created in Squidoo.com. It is a page where you create a "focus" of your favourite topic, knowledge, collection of links etc. As I've stated in my profile page, I was una...
Hi Jimmy - that's really impressive and professional looking. I've never heard of a 'lens' before - do they have a special purpose, or is it to let people know about a subject you're keen on... sharing your knowledge kind of thing...

The Short List

After a long fought out epic campaign the David Gemmell Legend Award has come down to the final five. They’re slaughtered, butchered and above all fought heroically for their place in the final five despite some dodgy backroom tactics from alleged fans.

Shortly we’ll get to work on a new area for each author and allot them their own “Guild” which you the reading public can sign up for along with having the chance to show your support for your favourite author as well as letting people know why… Continue

Thank you for the kind welcome. I've loved reading fantasy fiction for years, but have only recently become aware of the community at large. I've received great recommendations and made a lot of friends on some forums and through my blog. I've even met a few people who have encouraged me to take the story I've piddled around with for years more seriously and really try to make it work. One day I'd love to lift a life size Snaga award. I hope the crowd is capable of enduring the subsequent primal scream however. :)

I was out when you msg me, so i missed the date. I probabley would not have voted for any of those choices anyway! DG was a rare bird who KNEW about battle w/o much exposure to it. No one, and i mean no one measures up. I doubt i will see another like him, though i will try.
