Okay. Just for you Captain! Cinemascope it is! Is there a screenplay out there......anyone know?
In terms of direction (small d) the film will need sensitive producers, screenwriters and then good dramatic interpretation. Clint Eastwood is an interesting choice, and having seen Mystic River, Unforgiven and many others agree he builds characte...
Actually, Ward, I agree. When George Lucas asked John Williams to write the Star Wars music, he had chosen several pieces to inform the composer of the style and mood he wanted, and Mr Williams did the rest. So themes on a scene of Legend..........
Prog Rock...........no please no! Don't get me wrong I like some prog rock, but Ladyhawke was ruined by a dodgy soundtrack. Now if you're thinking Ozric Tentacles....?
My problem with a straight story on this, is that it has been done before in LOTR films.....two seiges in two films. Both expertly done. What the LOTR films do not have is an intense human element. They are all action and no soul. Legend is movin...

Hi Phil,

Thanks for taking the time to clarify. You don't have to worry, the psychological development of the characters is very important to me, and will continue throughout the series. There will be flashbacks to earlier scenes in the characters' lives, as well as ongoing events where they will have to confront their pasts. In the Desert Spear, Arlen returns to both Miln and Tibbet's Brook as the Painted Man, and has to face many of the things he ran away from head on. Rojer and Leesha will have to face some hard things in their pasts, as well. Hopefully that will be enough meat to satisfy. There will also be a couple of new characters with their own abuse and attachment issues.

Thanks for reading, and for the kind words.

Regards,
Peter
