So you are correct as far as i am concerned, i would be leery of a follow up.

Hello Adam! Stella indeed did a smashup job on the Fall of Kings. But she was very involved in the project long before Davids demise. Also, historical fiction is drastically different from heroic fantasy- especially where creativity comes in. Any ...

Considering a large percentage of fantasy seems to involve torture.......why not?

Absolutely, Dros! My problems with many fantasy conversions, is that the characters are swamped by the plot and the average viewers need for unmitigated action. I love David's character because they are human beings to me, with thoughts, feelings,...

Hello y'all! It's been a while....I've been licking my wound of not being able to get to the 1st Award Ceremony. In my misery, I turned to Sci Fi to watch "Legend of the Seeker" or perhaps better entitled "The Reason Why David's work can never be...

Hi Phil,

Thanks for taking the time to clarify. You don't have to worry, the psychological development of the characters is very important to me, and will continue throughout the series. There will be flashbacks to earlier scenes in the characters' lives, as well as ongoing events where they will have to confront their pasts. In the Desert Spear, Arlen returns to both Miln and Tibbet's Brook as the Painted Man, and has to face many of the things he ran away from head on. Rojer and Leesha will have to face some hard things in their pasts, as well. Hopefully that will be enough meat to satisfy. There will also be a couple of new characters with their own abuse and attachment issues.

Thanks for reading, and for the kind words.

Regards,
Peter
