I have started on the Waylander script, just a few chapters in but it is comming along. The plan is to do the complete book as is with some broad brush strokes and then will work on pairing it down to a feature length.

It would not be the music but the film style that would give me the comparisons to 300, and for style I would say use my Brother and I, or if I could not afford them maybe (and dont discount this before checking) John Landis.

Finished reading Orks now and it was worse than I wrote in my review! A truly aweful book, with all the story and character development of a sweat stain.... Has one redeaming freature, DG's quote on the front so i will keep it anyway.
