Aren't we all just torturing ourselves ...most likely it will never be ...
I'm not so sure.
I thought the adaptation of the Lord of the Rings was very well done despite my gravest mis-givings when I first heard the project was being seriously undertaken. The level of cinematic wizardry today is up to the task of creating serious motion pictures with science fiction/fantasy scenarios. It also appears the genre is being taken seriously and the level of professionalism involved in these productions is impressive.
The Dark Knight and even Iron Man both received serious interpretations on screen which may not meet everyones expectations but are admirable nevertheless. The Legend would have to be a trilogy and who could possibly play the lead? Some of the other books though would make excellent cinema if given the same attention to detail and professionalism as the aforementioned films.
The only fear would be some B rated production similar to the farce of Anne Rices work.
i think gerard butler would be goo for druss because if they end up making the first cronicles and the legend of deathwaker then they dont have to change the actor
