Hi Im new here and a Major Fan of David Gemmells' work. The only one (technically) that i havent read has been the grail of Gemmell book 'White Knight, Black Swan' by David's alias Ross Harding. The other technically being the story his publishers lost that he and his daughter wrote, 'The Lost Crown' I believe it was. Love the Awards idea and have signed up and voted, im also very interested in these Wristbands. What do they look like and when do they go on sale. Also how far do you send them, I live in South Australia.
Hi Matthew & welcome!
Well, David's daughter Kate is a member here and posts here occassionally, so she may be able to shed some light on that, if it's true... Re the wristbands, just PM me your address details and I'll happily send you one over to Oz!
In regard to the DG Grail, I know that Blackwells in the UK has one of the espresso machines in it and that they'll also be able to print out of print novels. I've enquired as to whether or not WKBS will be available but alas, have yet to hear back to date. Now whilst I realise that you are in Australia it might be a case of if its available in the UK you should be able to purchase it and have it sent or, if a chain store happens to get one of these machines within you may be able to purchase it yourself.
If I hear anything else in regard to this I'll let you know via here.
That would be awesome!! I would love to get an original copy but want to read the story even more:) Thanks for that dros. Drop me a line if they get back to you if you could. And Deborah i have PM'd you, thank you so much. I would also love to know if that rumour about the lost story is true.
Nice to see another South Aussie here - have my wrist band lying somewhere - so they do ship to Australia. Havn't seen the books you mention, but now have the whole Troy series to read soon. Currently nearing the end of Joe Abercrombie's First Law trilogy.
Thankyou as well fellow convicts:) Ive finished Abercrombies series, great authorand amazing characters (I love the Northmen) though i must say i did vote for Brent Weeks in the Award, his book just enveloped me.
