The David Gemmell Legend Awards

Just thought that I'd add a couple of links here so that people interested in David have the chance to get to read about his work as well as other sites where you can chat to fans about the authors work. If you have a site you'd like added to this list please pm me and I'll get it added to the right catagory.

IIRC the Big Man was given the prototype that Raven made in the very late 80s, very early 90s (I remember it was pre-1994)

Raven Armoury are very generously donating the trophy for the Award EVERY YEAR - it is a half-scale Snaga compared to the one they gave David - which weighed 14lbs! They are also laser-etching the winner's name onto the butterfly blades. We'll be sure to post fulsome pictures after the Ceremony!

Hi there,

Please visit my Squidoo lens: David Gemmell's Drenai Tales.

Please let me know what you think.

Thanks!

Hi Jimmy - that's really impressive and professional looking. I've never heard of a 'lens' before - do they have a special purpose, or is it to let people know about a subject you're keen on... sharing your knowledge kind of thing...

Hi Deborah,

Thanks for the feedback! And yes, a 'lens' is essentially a page created in Squidoo.com. It is a page where you create a "focus" of your favourite topic, knowledge, collection of links etc.
As I've stated in my profile page, I was unable to find much information on Gemmell's books. Therefore, I decided to create my own fan page. Consider it my homage to the great man and his great books :)
